Linda Kay Blizzard, 70, of Mt. Pleasant, MI passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at her home.  She was born on December 8, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Arthur and Virginia (Bushong) Blizzard. 

          Linda was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over forty years, working at various nursing homes mostly in Midland and Mt. Pleasant.   She was a member of the Potters House and had a very strong love of her church.  She was a very religious person.  She enjoyed tracing genealogy, sewing, knitting and fishing.  You could expect a call from her every week to see how you were doing and check on ‘things’.

          Survivors include Linda’s children, Kevin Leffingwell of Mt. Pleasant, Jennifer and Jeffery Jun of Perry, MI, and a nephew Jason (Theresa) Fredericks of Mt. Pleasant.  Five grandchildren:  Emilie, Aiden and Evan Jun and Isaac and Ella Fredericks and a sister Victoria Latva of Three Rivers, MI.  Linda was preceded in death by both parents, a sister Jean Ann Eagley and a brother James Blizzard.

          A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Potters House with Rev. Ronald Ives officiating.  A luncheon will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.  Interment in Riverside Cemetery will take place at a time to be decided.  Friends and family will gather at the church on Friday from 10 to 11 am with the service starting at 11 am.
